Governor Mifflin Archives

Governor Mifflin Archives

The Governor Mifflin Archives contains information on the early Governor Mifflin School District which is composed of the Shillington, Mohnton, Cumru, and Brecknock school districts which were later merged to form one, the Governor Mifflin School District.

All information in the archives contains the original material as it was written, and is further split into subgroups that have linked finding aids.

Materials may be viewed by appointment in the Archives Room located in the Governor Mifflin Senior High School Library, located at 101 S Waverly St. in Shillington. To browse an overview of the information found in the archives before scheduling a visit, please browse the series indexed by the tabs on the left side of this page.

The Governor Mifflin Archives relies on donations from the community. Please email the librarian, Kristin Brumbach to inquire about donating items. Establishing our archive has been made possible by a generous grant from the
Governor Mifflin Education Foundation. To make a monetary donation to support this and other exciting projects, please visit the GMEF website.
