GMIS Library: Library Policies & Procedures

Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. daily

Circulation Policy at GMIS

Students are allowed to check-out 3 library items at a time.  They may have them for 15 days. Students may renew or return their library books at any time.  All students should be respectful of school property and also of other borrowers by returning borrowed materials promptly.  

 

Responsibility of the Student for Overdue and Lost Library Materials

Overdue notices are generated once a cycle to remind students to return or renew their books. Parents are notified of the price when the book is at least one month overdue. Students and their parents should make every effort to find and return all overdue books.  If the book has been lost, payment must be made to the "GMIS Library." If a book that has been paid for is found and returned to the library, the money will be refunded during the time that the student attends GMIS.
