Instructions & Rubric

 

ME Modern Topics and People Presentations                                 Gassert 2017

General Instructions:

-Pick a topic from the list on the front of this sheet.  Each student/pair has a different one.

-You may work by yourself or with a partner.  Must be in the same class.

-Research the topic you choose and gather information/notes.  Must take notes (dig. or hard)

-Put together a plan for “teaching” the class about your topic.

 

-Present your information to the class.

          -Brief Power Point/Slides Presentation   (Must have visuals)

-After you give the information to class, must include/repeat two or three key points on the topic and explain the importance/significance.

-Presentation should be 3-5 mins. (5 mins. MAX)

-Complete project including presentation is worth 50 pts.

-Must submit your notes when finished along with a copy of slides used for presentation.

-We will utilize the Google Classroom for posting and sharing your materials. 

               *You are required to do this. 

 

Resources:

-Use your Textbook, Books, Internet, Websites (like CNN or BBC, etc.); Databases

-Use multiple sources to put together your info

(Must use multiple sources!  Must have at least three sources (minimum) and must have at least one print (beyond textbook) and one internet source.)

-Remember to list your sources in a brief Bibliography.

-Must credit your sources in your slides (I will explain.  Don’t need to cite/credit your pics.)
